The 13 best gujarati restaurants in Rishikesh (2024)

Little Buddha Cafe is one of the various restaurants in Rishikesh, offering a beach shack-like ambience that transports you to Goa. However, its stunning vistas of the Ganges and hills serve as a constant reminder that you are indeed in Rishikesh. The diverse menu encompasses global cuisines such as Indian, Italian, Israeli, Mexican, and Tibetan. It boasts an array of salads, veggie platters, and soups with ample vegan options available upon request.

The view of Ganga and Laxman Jhula was amazing.Music was also quite good. But the service was very poor and late. Also people were allowed to smoke so basically not recommended for family n kids.Food was also quite pricey.Place is good for youth. It is a dog friendly place.Best place for cafe lovers.

The best part about this cafe is the view from here which makes you wonder what was you missing in the overrated cafe’s in Delhi.Food is also quiet good, I have seen foreigners visiting and enjoying the food here.I have tried my best capturing the views because it was crowded on the weekend I hope it helps getting the feel of the cafe. One thing which I disliked is that they don’t accept UPI easily and prefer only cash.

I loved the food it was too good. View from this location is awesome, staff too is good but just service is bit slow. Again considering the view and such a delicious food waiting was worth.

This cafe serves the best and freshest food in Rishikesh. The raste and range is something I don’t even see in Australia. The facilities are extremely clean and the prices are extremely reasonable and the atmosphere as well as the views are world class. The serving sizes are the biggest I’ve seen anywhere I have travelled.Thank you Little Buddha café Rishikesh YOUR THE BEST

Heard a lot about this cafe, probably the most famous cafe in Rishikesh. But when I visited the place I found out why it is so. The cafe always remains packed. You have to wait in a queue for a while, for the seat near the view. The service gets slow sometimes due to so much crowd, otherwise the staff is friendly & food is delicious. The place has a great hippie view with gorgeous view to experience. I guess if you come early morning you can get the best seating!! Though Totally recommended. 👍🏻😊

Just the view is good from this cafe...Not sure why this cafe is so hyped, you will find many more cafes where you will get good food and hygiene. Foodwise it's just fine not that great... Do not dare look at their kitchen, it's super unhygienic 🙈

It is a small yet popular cafe you will find in Rishikesh. The view from the cafe is just mesmerizing. A good eatery is known for the quality of food it provides. And this place just fulfils it. The options they provide are not just for the country folks, but also for the voyagers from across the world. The diversity in their menu is worth exploring. However, with popularity comes rude attitude which is the only thing that bugged me. Endless minutes of waiting in a line yet nobody to answer you. Sadly, they don't understand it is the customer's word of mouth that popularises the place. If you can ignore the lack of hospitality and just want good food, sure this place is highly recommended.

A Must Go place while Rishikesh Cafe Hopping. There are many seating on the sides which gives you a beautiful panoramic view of Ganga. Even if you didn't get a the windows seats, the bamboo cottage ambiance and light soothing music is worth spending your time. It's a place to relax and spend quite time.Food is delicious and service is good. There are Vegan options for everything, beverages to main course.Has to park on road side, difficult to find space, well there is a pay and park nearby.

Family restaurant with Stunning view of the Ganga River. Delicious food with large menu, vegetarian options, and reasonable prices; open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. They have fresh juices and many non alcoholic beverages. Salads are fresh with generous portions. Highly recommend.Keep in mind it has steep staircase coming up to the restaurant.

It’s one of the most crowded restaurants/cafe in rishikesh. The food is also great and the taste, quality and quantity is great. The place is always full as everyone comes here to have tasty dishes which is all kind of cuisine from Mexican, Italian, Chinese, Middle Eastern and Indian. So come prepared that you have to wait for min 30-45 min before getting seats.Parking here is almost not possible so come walking. The biggest issue here is the service. The servers are not very prompt and you have to ask for a thing many times before it’s addressed.

Great view of the Ganges if you manage to get seated at the far end otherwise not so great view.Food menu was great and full of interesting options. The portion size was especially great. Big platter for only ₹385.Overall great experience. I want to go again to try other menu options.

The place has great views, undoubtedly but the service is slow. Actually, slow would be an understatement. I ordered a normal cold coffee and garlic bread. The cold coffee took close to 15 minutes to prepare, which I overlooked. But the garlic bread NEVER arrived, even after 45 minutes, even after I finished the cold coffee, even after asking 2 times.I just got up, paid 120 bucks for the cold coffee and lett disappointed. Gos knows, what happened, why didn't the food arrive. To this day, I wonder!

Lovely cafe, great vibe. The food was awesome. The view seemed great. We spent 3-4 hours easily, sitting , chatting and ended up ordering a lot of food.

Parking is a bit issue here. Better to walk. Has nice view of Ganges. Food is average. Service is also average. Felt like foreigners get more preference here. Being desi I got very cold and unresponsive service here. I wanted ro spend a lot moree time there but didn't order further after seeing service response. On the other hand servers were very responsive and cheerful to foreigners.

Love the ambience but it's almost always crowded and you need to wait tables before you can get a good spot to eat :P There's a lot of room for improvement in terms of service but the food is great and the view of the Ganges and Lakshman Jhula at night is amazing. Must try their Falafel plate.

Visiting Little Buddha was a vibe. The cafe's small & cozy , has an almost miss-able, small entrance.Luckily I got one of the best seats available in the cafe , facing Ganga Ji & Laxman Jhula. We ordered a Falafal All platter, a mix fruit juice & red ribbon juice (a mix of all red vegetables like beetroot , carrot, etc.). The food was so good, so aptly light which filled our hungry stomachs to the right quantity. The Hummus was so light , easily one of the most delicious hummus I've ever had. The juices were fresh & didn't have any added sugar which I highly appreciated. The only thing which I found unsatisfactory was their service which was slow & kind of unresponsive. It could be because the day i visited the cafe , it had a good/huge crowd coming in & going out.But the food & Ganga view made up for all the shortcomings in the end. Price wise it's a decent cafe (our bill was 350 per person).Highly Recommend the place if you're in Rishikesh. I would love to go back again & try other things off the menu too. 🙏🏼

The Little Budha Cafe is located near the Laxman Jhula at Rishikesh in Dehradun. It's located on the other side of crossing the bridge and is easily navigable via Google maps .I ordered a Falafel All Platter, a Red Ribbon Smoothie and a fresh mixed fruit juice . Please definitely get the Falafel Platter as it's unmissable! The hummus served along was the fluffiest, lightest hummus I've tasted ! It was so fresh and the falafels were incredibly crispy and the Pita was airy and light. Best Falafels I've tried. Yeh smoothies and juices are made fresh and have no added sugar. The glasses are massive, so order with caution . The prices are moderate and you can enjoy a good meal under budget .The Ambience and view, the cafe displays is Incredible ! You can see the Beautiful Ganga flowing to your left and it will be a spectacular sight . It's usually crowded , so you might have to wait a bit to get your table .The servers and staff are polite and helpful and helped me with charging my phone . The service is a bit slow but it really depends on the rush in the cafe and it's usually always packed .The Little Buddha Cafe is a must visit when in Rishikesh because it hosts you with love, spectacular food and spectacular views .Definitely and Highly Recommended. Happy exploring :)

The breakfast menu of little Buddh is to die for! They make the best pancakes! You will love the options they’ve in Breakfast and all the salads! The whole menu is so different and they do justice to all the dishes they make! The location of the place is also perfect, just near Laxman jhula on the bank of Ganga River! You can enjoy your mean with Ganga/Laxman Jhula view if you find an empty table towards the front which is rare! 😂

Food is really good and you'll find the authentic taste not the Indianized ones.Portion size is amazing as always ambience is great apart from smokersService was a bit slow that might be due to fresh preparations of the food but I can't be sure about it as I haven't seen inside the kitchenAll in all I would say its a must try

Little Buddha cafe was suggested to me by a fellow traveller. It took more than 30 mins to reach there from my stay. Tbh, it was worth it. 🔥 The ambiance was amazing and it seems to be always full. ♥️ Fortunately I got a seat. One row of tables has the view of Ganga River. 😍 There are varieties of food here and everything seems so good. 🥙🍕 Their portions are remarkable. Two people can have one dish. Most of the food is healthy. ✨ I had their mushroom platter with brown rice and cheese momos with clear soup. Also tried their Mango lassie, it was lit. 🔥 So thick with real mangoes. If you are on a trip to Rishikesh, I would definitely recommend this spot. ❤️

The place has some of the best views you could enjoy in Rishikesh with some lush proportions of food. The atmosphere is very good for some, some may find it disturbing. This is due to the fact that the guests share the tables and there's no concept of private table for a group, whoever finds a place wherever, just sits. Therefore, you can have some amazing conversations with strangers or find your privacy intruded. The food is good, I ordered pita with humus and spinach paneer momos(the covering is so thin that the filling is visible). The service though is a bit wanting as....the serves sometimes forget things and there's no proper way of taking an order. This might be due to the place being busy even in the off season. Still, a bit more work could be done at least in taking orders

Food and there service was top quality here. Little difficulty to find seats on peak hours. The view from cafe is good.

Somehow we had not been to this little gem of a cafe in all these years we have been to Rishikesh...Today we decided to give it a go...And I am so glad we did. Everything we ate was truly tasty - not Rishikesh tasty - like we are here in this little town this is the best we can get type tasty... The food was actually v good. The green juice and fresh strawberry lassi we started with was superb - no ice added - naturally cool.Moved on to nachos - nice ... Could be better. Then hummus and falafel which were brilliant. We had an avocado toast - the avocado was generous on the toast and quite scrumptious. The salad had too little dressing otherwise v good. The paneer pakoras were golden - fried to perfection. And our pizza was thin crust and delicious. And while we atw we watched the amazing view of the serene Ganga from our balcony table. The service was quick and very friendly. So what could have been better? The music - a little too loud and a better more thoughtful playlist would have really made this meal truly special.Would we come back? Yes of course!Definitely coming here again... And you should too - come early afternoon or early evening otherwise they get v v crowded. And you get a lovely view which you will totally miss at night.

Love this little Buddha cafe, it has cute cozy ambience with beautiful river side view. I had been here on Saturday evening, Lively place, was lucky to witness sunset from here. 😍 They have a variety of dishes on the menu. I tried Buddha platter which was so so delicious and filling. It was served with pumpkin soup , loads of veggies, so healthy and good. Also ginger lemon honey tea here was good. The service here is very very slow like any other cafe near lakshman jhula. Make sure u enjoy the view and be ready to spend Plenty of time. I couldn't try many dishes as one platter was so filling. I would recommend this place , must visit when in rishikesh.

If you're on the lookout for a breakfast spot with a view, this cafe is a gem! The menu is fantastic, and the sound of the river paired with a gentle breeze sets the perfect morning vibe. Plus, dog lovers will adore the adorable pups greeting you. A definite must-visit to kickstart your day with a smile!

The place has a nice atmosphere and tasty food, creating a pleasant vibe. However, the wait time and service are disappointing, making the overall experience less enjoyable. Despite the good ambience and delicious dishes, the slow service takes away from the positive aspects. Customer service can be improved.
