Commissioner Fontano is far more patient with people on Zoom than I would be.
We need to institute the death penalty of people who use Zoom and disrupt proceedings with open mics.

He is very patient. He is turning into a better commissioner than I anticipated when he was appointed.

He is good on the law and has a great demeanor. So far, his biggest strength is that he is really good at running the office. He seems to be a gifted administrator.

Went from about a 4 month wait to get something heard to less than 2. That’s all you need to know. Well done sir.

I’ve never dined at the Lotus of Siam red rock location because it isn’t open for lunch. Given all the professionals in Summerlin, and the presumably high rent, it is strange they aren’t open for lunch. Anyone been there for dinner? Is it any good? How does it compare to the original?

It was fine when we went there. Not like the original or as good and damn expensive too.
Closest thing to the original (and just as good IMO though no buffet) is Thailicious in Henderson. West siders should stick to Pin Kao or Nittaya’s

No one who works in Summerlin is dying to paw their way through a casino for lunch. Not surprising they are not open for lunch.
Who are the law firms on the case?

That lunch buffet at the original location was the best. 90’s – 00’s.

I imagine the lower foot traffic & consumer demand during the day makes it an easy decision for Lotus and Stations to close during the lunch hours. They have to keep overhead/staffing costs down to maximize profits for ownership/shareholders. Not uncommon in Vegas, even for standalone restaurants that used to be lunchtime hotspots. I’ve walked through several mid- to high-end hotels on Strip during lunchtime, and while their restaurants are open, almost all of the tables appear to be empty.

It took so long to get our food at the Red Rock Lotus (after being forced to wait far too long for a table despite having had a reservation time) that I vowed never to go back. And I live in Summerlin. I was a huge fan of the original, where the owner would come around and check in with every table. And where Smokey Robinson once picked up the tab for everyone that was in the restaurant when he was there. (It was before the expansion.)

The kid on the mini bike was high AF. Not a bad way to check out! Article doesn’t say whether he was wearing a helmet.

You know nothing, Jon Snow. 10x is click bait nonsense.
There is no rational relation with NVs “legal limit” and impairment and 20ng/ml ain’t sh*t. One hit a week ago.

Go to indochino at fashion show. It is semi-custom or get someone who travels here from Thailand and have a few made. About $600 a suit, but ready to wear and better materials and fits great.

I’m neither particularly fat nor tall, but I got some nice suits at Mastroianni’s on Oakey and Decatur .

I like that place. Some of the suits if I bought them would make me look like a pimp. Stick to boring black and gray patterns. Mastroianni’s is good though and fair prices.

My use of peremptory challenges is up 400% in recent years. I could not justify the expense previously. But $450 is basically one hour of having your time wasted by one of the judges that either (a) does not know what they are doing on the bench or (b) has such a bad case of Robitis that they literally make things ultra complicated for what should be relatively simple motions.
